We moved into a house that had a basement door that was, let's say, \slapped\ in place. It was a \custom\ cut WOODEN exterior door with daylight showing all around. It caused some serious inefficiencies in the summer and winter and also allowed all kinds of bugs to come in. The concrete door frame was a smaller than normal size and could not be changed without some serious construction. NuHome came in, took some measurements, and ordered a top of the line exterior door. I was still slightly skeptical that our problem could be made to look nice or functional. The crew showed up on installation day on time and with the highest professionalism. I'll make a long story short. The door is PERFECT, looks expertly done, and we have ZERO draft or bug issues now. This door was custom ordered to fit the space, but it looks like it belongs there. The crew went a step further to cover the exterior wood pieces with aluminum flashing (sleek looking) and caulking all around the edges. It looks GREAT and exceeded all my expectations. Well worth the investment. There is no team around better than the crew at NuHome. My HIGHEST recommendation - I would not hesitate to call them again if I ever needed door service! Bottom line up front, I was very impressed with NuHome Exteriors from start to finish!! NuHome offered us an estimate for our roof that was good for a year so we decided to take them up on it. Our installation consultant was Kelly Pierce and I’m here to tell you he is just a complete pleasure to work with. There was no pressure to buy and he really gave us an honest assessment of what our requirements would be for replacing our roof. Given that and the price we were quoted it made our decision to go ahead and contract the work an easy one. We were also impressed with how quickly after the contract signing they came out and did the demo/install. We signed the contract on 30 October and had the work completed on 19 November. Finally, I want to talk about the crew. They did a tremendous job completing our roof replacement. They even went above and beyond and fixed a piece of siding that had come loose on the side of our townhouse. Also, they took great care to ensure the perimeter of our home was protected from debris and ensured cleanup was thorough and complete. I definitely recommend NuHome to anyone looking to install a new roof on their home.
Nate from NuHome was very professional and responsive to work with. He and his team handled all the back and forth with USAA and their adjusters. Cleanup after the roof replacement was very good, so far I have found less than a handful of nails that could flatten my tires. Highly recommend their services.
One of the best experience I have had in a long time. Great job, Nate and NuHome. I worked with Nate for my Roof replacement. It was him that made my experience extremely pleasant. He's absolutely honest. He explained everything upfront and there were no hidden costs (none). I called him a number of times (and sometimes at odd hours) for clarifications and he responded immediately. He helped schedule the roof replacement on the day I wanted. The installers completed the replacement in a single day and absolutely cleaned up the surroundings. Extremely satisfied.
We really appreciate the work NuHome did on our siding, roofing and gutters. It truly looks like a totally new home. Like all big jobs like this, there are little issues along the way, but they did a nice job addressing our concerns. The only disappointment we have is that a siding nail came through and chipped a piece of tile in one of our bathrooms. It was inset in the wall so there wasn't as much clearance behind the inset. And we can't get any more of that tile to replace it. I would still choose to work with them again if given the choice.
