My experience at Silvi Concrete is from an employee perspective instead of a client. Silvi is a great company for those who like to be rewarded for hard work. During an interview management isn't afraid to let you know that this is a company where each individual contributes their share. Out of a 400 person company people can feel like they directly affect the growth of the organization. However, management is very good at rewarding those who work hard with promotions, bonuses, encouragement etc. The benefits of this company are also very competitive and include health, vision, dental, short & long term disability, life insurance, PTO days, holidays, overtime for non-exempt employees, a 401K AND a pension. This is definitely a company where many employees have chosen to stay long term and to retirement.
Don't plan on getting your concrete when you need it. Had a pour scheduled two Friday's ago that showed up three hours late. Scheduled another pour for tomorrow a week in advance and just got a call that ours wasn't important enough and is getting delayed, possibly canceled, because another customer that scheduled later takes precedent I guess. What a good way to lose customers. Go elsewhere for your concrete needs.
this company will do what they say but if there is a problem it takes forever to hear back from them and they will not go the extra mile to help fix the problem. they sent a rookie driver with a driver coach to our job and he did not go where we had directed him and he ended up damaging the sidewalks and the yard where we had laid down the rubber mats for him to drive onto which we are now responsible for all the damage which is about 2 or 3000 worth, we worked with some other companies and most of them will help with at lease some of the damages even if its not their fault, we are very unhappy with Silvi Concrete and do not plan on using them again.
