I booked through my hotel, and showed up for the 2 hour ride at 10:30 am. It did take some time to get everyone signed in and saddled up - not an issue, just good to know so that you plan your time accordingly. I had a really great experience, and would echo what others have said about being able to ride a bit more independently. Our guide Chuck was awesome and super open to providing history, information and answers to my many questions about the area, the ranch and their horses! Super fun experience :)

My husband and I went on a horseback ride here and had so much fun! Our guide was super friendly and helpful. I don’t have much experience with riding, so his willingness to help was great. Also enjoyed how you felt like you were really riding, not just riding in a line like other rides I had done in the past. Great experience overall and would 100% recommend!

This is the best horseback riding place in Colorado. They cater to your ability and requests and the horses are amazing. The ride is through a sweeping landscape of aspens and pines and prairies. It’s great in the winter through the snow and in the summer.

A group of 8 of us came to the ranch with little expectations. First off, the location of this ranch in-between a large valley is stunning. Chuck was our tour guide on our two hour horseback ride up the mountain into some Aspen groves. The view down into the valley and the bright yellow Aspen's was truly something unexpected. Chuck's personality was an amazing addition to our ride as he was able to share many details about the ranch and the horses. One thing to note about the horseback ride, we were not required to stay single file which was a new experience for us. We were able to guide the horse and really enjoy the day. After the ride, we were handed off to Luke who guided our ATV experience. The ATV experience was nice, but less freedom. We were required to stay in single file line and we did not exceed 3rd gear. I would've liked a little more thrill during the ATV ride. Overall, highly recommend this place to get out and see the mountains. It is definitely worth the trip!

Here for a trail ride. 5 of us on horses for 2 hour ride. Ride abreast rather than horses nose to butt to the one in front! A new experience and added a lot since our trailmaster (mistress?) Ella could relate info about the area, terrain, horses, and the ranch plus interacting with all us without someone being left out. She herself earned the extra star to this review. Surprised that they do these trail rides year-round.

Our family rode with Luke and Robin. It was a fantastic experience from beginning to end! The instructions were clear enough for the kids to be super comfortable, it wasn't a nose-to-tail experience, and the ride was beautiful. Highly recommended!

This was an amazing experience!! We went for my boyfriends 30th birthday and went horseback riding, it was so much fun!! The staff was so friendly and made sure we were all very comfortable and they had great energy! 100% would come back, especially since they are developing some new exciting activities there that I would like to come back and try! Thanks for such a great time!

A wonderful experience and the quality of this ride is worth even more than what you'll pay! There are a lot of really expensive horse rides out there that don't have very impressive scenery, but this place is a huge bargain for the quality of horses, riders, and scenery you get!! Our guide Chuck was extremely friendly and helpful, and we had so much fun being on the ride with him. But the scenery is just WOW. You ride through a magical valley with peaks and mountains on both sides and no sign of modern life. I truly hate when I go on a horseback ride and you can see or hear a highway or cars, it really breaks from the relaxing part of nature, but here you are completely out in nature and it is so beautiful and relaxing. The aspens and pines are breathtaking and the horses were very friendly! We will absolutely come back here on our next vacation and will be telling all our friends and family about it as well :)
