This is the only emergency room that I’ve been to, so I can’t compare it to others, but had nothing but good experiences here. Most of the time, there is a long wait, especially at night. So be prepared to sit and wait, unless obviously it’s something very severe. During Covid, there is virtually no wait, but I’m assuming that will change soon. I have been going here since I was 1 and whenever I had to get stitches, go for concussions, was sick, or for overdoses. I’ve been here 3 times in the last year, all for mental health related reasons. Every time, the nurses and doctors have been incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

My daughter had to have a blood transfusion. I arrived with my daughter, parked in the green parking garage, a lady nurse parked beside me, asked her how to get to the 9th floor for children, she offered to help me with my luggage and showed and told me how to get to the 9th floor from the green garage. Took the Skywalk to the hospital, they checked the temperature of me and my daughter and gave me a visitor sticker inside the Skywalk. Took the elevator to the 9th floor, the doors of Innova children's hospital were opened to me before I could press the button on the wall (since they saw that I was carrying my daughter with one hand/arm and luggage with the other hand).The lady at the front desk gave us wristbands and told me where our room was located. Our room door was opened and we made ourselves at home. The nurses and doctors are amazing. The nurses and doctors (Marely, Jeannette and Dr Pigues) were really nice to my daughter. Mission accomplished thank God and we were released from the hospital within 24 hours. The dining personnel, the menu and the food were awesome! Loved the view while looking out the window!

We took our covid child in here with sudden onset severe headache and partial loss of vision (most likely due to a blood clot in his brain as this happened to both me and my brother and MANY other covid patients) but they sent him away without any treatment, without doing a CT scan or any other imaging, and without a neurologist--or any specialist--examining him. This is the kind of negligence that can cost children's lives.

Nurse was very rude and didnt listen to me when i was saying that my child is throwing up any medication and i asked her for another option, but she said that my daughter will take it she will give it to her, as soon as she gave her she said, look, she just took it its all good. After that my daughter started throwing up for 2-3 minutes, I asked nurse why she didnt listen to me when i told her my daughter doesnt take medicationa she said i never said that to her because doctor was there. I am giving 2 stars just because of other nurses and doctors who assisted us, but would give 0 if is only for this one nurse. I dont know her name but I asked right away to leave the room and requested another nurse eventhoug we needed to wait.

One outstanding experience, my son broken arm, all staff unbelievably on par with timing, attention, preparation. One of the best hospital experiences ever. The people have such a professional attitude that the fact that our son was injured was less concerning when we saw the level of care and experience all the staff showed. Even the registrar was super helpful and resourceful. I do not have enough words and expression capability for the wonderful experience, five stars does not do justice. Above and beyond five stars. My son and us parents Thank You all EM Pediatrics staff and keep it up.
