The stones and setting was a higher grade/cut then their competitors and the pricing was amazing! Washington Diamond has gone above and beyond to help my wife and I get our wedding bands. Tom was funny, helpful, and light hearted throughout the entire process. We were measured the same day, and when we had to do minor adjustments to our wedding bands, he did so for free and quickly. I went to Washington Diamond with just a few pencil sketches and stones from our families, hoping to create my ideal engagement ring. Tom Daube helped me work through the ideas and find the best ring to use as a base, then the in-house team of jewelers made the finishing touches to make it a reality. They were able to beautifully set three stones in a unique ring that my wife adores. I had such a great experience working with Tom that we went back for our wedding bands, too, and he was able to get us exactly what we were looking for. All-in-all, Tom was an absolute pleasure to talk with and was not at all a pushy or aggressive salesman. If I recall correctly, our first appointment consisted solely of discussing my thoughts and him showing me a few possibilities, and I walked out empty-handed to check out a few other shops. I quickly came back to Washington Diamond after realizing they were the best! The rest of the staff is totally professional and courteous, too. I have nothing but great things to say about this place, and will certainly be coming back to shop for our anniversary!
I worked with Tom to create a custom ring. Through the whole process the customer service couldn't have been better and by all accounts the ring came out perfect and was the exact design requested. In particular, you could tell that the ring was built more sturdy than normal and Washington Diamond took pride in the work.
