I invited my friend for a business lunch at this place. We had Kitfo and Habesha beer for both of us. First, the server came up to us and asked us if we need any thing else, we said, we are good. She came the second time interrupted our discussion again even worse she requested us to leave because they are busy and more customers are coming. I usually go to this place when I needed Kitfo. It’s embarrassing anyway! I will never go back again!
Be careful! Double charged by the restaurant's mistake. My friends and I had dinner on 16 Oct 20. We asked the waitress to split the bill, however, she charged the same amount on my credit card and another credit card I used before, which they might have the card number and security code somewhere. I didn't realize until I get notifications from my banks on the next day. I discussed that with the manager and his response was awful. It was their mistake but they never say sorry. Please check your bill cautiously.
Paid 18 dollars for 5 worth of beef and a 1onion. Considering every other Ethiopian restaurant has the same costs they do if not more since they actually have a full menu this is simply robbery. I don't mind paying 18 for Ethiopian food what I mind is paying that amount for half the food everyone else offers. Go to habesha In DC and you get double the amount for 14. Simply put a ripofg

We went there one night after being recommended by a friend but the service and food was utterly terrible. We ordered derek tibis but they brought some fat (choma) which was barely derek then we told the waitress to make the tibis more derek (dry) and it has so much fat. Guess what they brought it back without the fat but they didn’t add more meat to compensate for that fat and the taste was just nasty. I can make a better tibis blind folded. Never going back we left the food untouched and make thing worse they charged us. DO NOT GO HERE.
