I'm not really sure what the other reviewers are talking about. Been going to Dr. Muir for over a year with my mother and have had no problems. If needing a prescription refill we go through my chart and the scripts are filled promptly. If calling the office and receiving a voicemail they call back within a hour. Great doctor and great staff.

Don Muir has been my physician for over 30 years. He has always taken great care of my family and me. Whenever I needed a referral to a specialist be it cardiologist, internist, orthopedic, neurologist, etc. they have been excellent. And, in those rare instances where Dr. Muir was unavailable, Drs., Berger and Gradolph stepped in. People who complain about waiting Need to understand some things. Although nobody likes to wait, these doctors are doing their job for their patients, face to face. There are a lot of people in the waiting room because these doctors are just flat great. Lots of patients in the waiting tells me that they are waiting for high quality care.

I love Dr. MUIR himself. He's one of the best. He's been my doctor my entire life. I started bringing my husband here as well. Unfortunately it's TRUE that ever since he affiliated himself as alliance it is horrible customer service. I'm not sure about the whole office but his personal secretary Donna is the absolute WORST. She's rude and disrespectful and doesnt make his current patients a priority. I won't go back nor will my husband and my mother is about to leave too. It makes me very sad but until he gets a rid of Donna it's not worth the hassle of trying to get in to see him or get any prescriptions (which they always call in wrong and not very timely.)

Here’s the thing - doctor is great. Office staff is absolutely horrible. They all have terrible attitudes. They’re terribly unorganized. There is always some kind of mixup. Recently, I had to call and cancel an appointment after hours (I believe it was 430pm) and they didn’t even have a voicemail box to put me into to leave a message? I just waited 20 minutes on hold to make a doctors appointment, I had the option to leave a voicemail this time around - but typically, if you leave a voicemail in the past - it won’t get returned, or it would be at minimum 24 hours before you hear back. So, I called back - picked a different extension, and actually got a live person on the phone. Upon telling her that I’ve been waiting 20 minutes on hold, she copped an attitude with me - told me I’ve no showed 4 times and cancelled once in my past five scheduled visits (Not true at all - Goes back to their terrible organization in the office ) I finally said I’m done with this place. I’ll get a new doctor. These people are miserable to work with.

I've been going to the same doctor for more than 20 years. Since they changed over to Alliance Heath I've spent about 4-5 weeks trying to get prescription issues worked out. Every communication takes them at least a week to get back to you. Now I'm facing the prospect of running out of my medication before they will process my insurance company's request to fill at my needed quantity. Since I take a high dose of anti-depressants, not only is this dangerous to stop instantly because of the medication in my system, but I will most likely have to endure another week of horrific symptoms until they get back in touch with me. Seemingly no regard for any urgency with prescription issues, which is extremely disappointing.
