This was a great place to go but unfortunately it's closing. Great service with a good selection of media and rental prices. There are no more rentals but they are currently selling all of their movies (including 4K UHD and Blu-ray versions) and games for cheap.

This was a great place to rent movies! I discovered today that they they are permanently closed. I would rent movies 10 at a time!
Wonderful selection of movies, TV shows and video games. The staff are very helpful when it comes to asking about movies and recommendations. The box popcorn sold there is delicious, but look out for the candy. A lot of the candy can be expired by over a year, the oldest candy being from late 2017 in mid 2019. The downside is if you live too far to rent often, you have a very limited selection of movies to buy since not every title is able to be bought. Only movies and video games specifically marked can be purchased to own.
I received a text about a free movie for Christmas Eve and I get to the store and they have been closed for a half hour already. I received the text today at 10:00am and thought that the store wouldn't close as early as 7:00pm. I don't live in Glenview and I have to drive back 20 minutes since I will not be able to redeem the text. Family Video please post store hours in your texts accordingly.
Great place to bring the entire family to select movies, snacks, and even rent games. The prices range from free all the way to 5 rentals. There are random promotions where if you donate X amount of money, you can rent movies for free for a whole year. The staff are extremely friendly and the overall place gives a nostalgia feel.
Love this place. Great price. Love that you can keep most movies for longer than one night!
