The Farmers Branch StarCenter is a pretty decent rink. I play in the Adult leagues here and it’s a great place to play hockey. The locker rooms have a decent amount of room in them at least compared to some of the other star centers and the ice is always in relatively good condition. Plus they have a pretty cool miniature hockey museum upstairs along with a bar.

I have been going to this /indoor/ rink for years now and have always loved my experience. The staff has always been friendly, and the ice very clean. The skateshop is absolutely amazing and has helped me tremendously. However, I went to visit the outdoor rink today and I was so disappointed. I understand the staff can only do so much so I don't really blame them but the people really should have been more cautious. There are signs that ask you to social distance and the parents and kids completely ignored them. Most of the children weren't wearing masks, and many of the parents weren't either. One of the staff members came over and asked a few people to put on masks but most of the kids didn't even acknowledge her. I just really thought with covid-19 people would think about their families and those around them a little more.

One of the nicer rinks in the area. Cool history of hockey “museum” upstairs, and good places to watch from. Nice clean and large locker rooms.

Great ice. Helpful, welcoming staff. Refreshments and cafe when it's open. Floors could be cleaner. Our family love skating at these rinks.

We have been to this facility countless times, it never dissapoints. The facility is clean, the ice is always in fantastic shape, and the games smooth and fun for the kiddos.
