I have gotten my private pilot certificate with Icarus am currently getting my instrument rating and will.be getting my commercial with Icarus. The owner Mike keeps all of his aircraft and facility in great condition with an emphasis on safety. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating, I have worked with Jason and Rich who are both great instructors and have a flexible schedule. I highly recommend Icarus Flying Academy for any phase of training.

I was fortunate to meet the Icarus Aviation & Avionics team through my plane's previous owner, and I couldn't be happier that I did. In addition to providing an excellent, top-quality work, these are amazing people who share the love of aviation and want to deliver the best service to their clients--without ripping you off or trying to take advantage of you. I did a complete avionics upgrade to my plane with Icarus Avionics, and the results were stunning. The quality of the service was impeccable, they were easy to communicate with throughout the process and provided all the guidance and support I needed to familiarize myself with the systems and help resolve minor issues along the way. If you're around the Tri-State area and is looking for a maintenance and/or avionics shop, I HIGHLY recommend these guys.

Supper effective, amazing instructor, he has strong communication skills , and strives to ensure his students are on track and understanding.While also time managing to ensure all goals are met.He works with his students, to ensure they obtain there license in a timely manner. The owner , also a Mike ! Extremely friendly and down to earth, easy going and super attentive. No student goes unrecognized. He’s always reaching out and making sure students get there moneys worth. This school is worth every penny !!!
