They don't wear mask and are paying spot price from Friday at 11am Monday morning. I got a decent price for coins, however, I was basically shorted 60 on a 4000 sale by them using days old spot. Why would an honest business do this? Then they offered me spot for a small number of eagles, maple leafs, and australian rounds. They had stated 5 spot for eagles, 3 for maple leafs. I was told condition of eagles brought down to spot. I have bought coins for years eagles always get a couple over spot, and the Australian coins were all in hard plastic, so condition apparently didn't really matter because they were still only offering spot. They were not friendly, definitely would not recommend

I HAVE VISITED ....'Universal Coin'' ....SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE PAST COUPLE OF YEARS AND EACH TIME; I LEAVE, SATISFIED THAT I GOT A FAIR DEAL WHEN SELLING MY COINS TO THEM. THEY ARE TOP NOTCH PEOPLE AND I ALWAYS LEARN SOMETHING NEW ABOUT COIN COLLECTING BECAUSE THEY HAVE SEEN IT ALL. THEY ARE VERY EXPERIENCED IN WHAT THEY DO.

What can I say; they are fair, honest and knowledgeable. I was looking to sell some sterling collectables and they were responsive and factual. Some on-line places wanted me to send the items in for an estimate / offer. I’m not fond of sending expensive items to someone for a look-see, and hopefully getting a good offer.
