I really enjoyed store pre pandemic. I have always received excellent service in the gun area. The sales associates on floor have the typical don't bother me attitude. That is the reason for three stars.

If you’re looking for the most cost effective sporting store in town you will want to shop at Academy sports. They offer military discounts at Veterans Day and 4th of July. Academy sports is clean and well priced. I made quite a few Christmas gift purchases from the store and needed to do some returns. I was able to do that without issue. The store is extremely clean. They have a store brand of clothing called Magellan which has turned out to be an exceptional clothing line. My son likes to wear 511 pants. I can pick them up at academy. Before our vacation last Summer, We made hundreds of dollars worth of purchases for our camping trip to Niagara Falls and found Academy sports to be the most pleasant and cost effective sporting good store in town. I like that the store carries name brands. The store is also extremely clean. The employees are very helpful.
Most shelves look stocked. The manager or team lead stepped up to help a backlog of customers waiting to pay. Prices are competitive and I seem to always find what I need.
My go to store for all outdoor and fitness stuff. Never have enough time to look around like I want to.
I was picking up online order. Every one was very friendly and helpful.
