This business has a parking lot that looks like it's shared with Eds tire. I had to get work done on my work van and when it was done I had to pick it up and start working so I left my personal vehicle in the parking lot. Where I parked was closer to Eds tire than it was BBQ Hut. I dont even understand why he has a parking lot that big when he will never have that many customers. Anyway, I couldn't come pick my car up until the next day and he decided to have my car towed just to be evil. My car wasn't bothering anybody or blocking anybody from parking, and you can tell that somebody thought it was eds tire parking. I had to pay 175 to get my car out and he doesn't have to pay anything to get your car towed, they have a contract with a towing company. I recommend nobody park here and give this man business because he is an angry man and is staff is very rude as well. I have ate here before and trust me, its not worth it!

I love hole in the wall and old time BBQ joints, so I was a little disappointed in Bar-B-Que Hut. The pork was soggy and bland (adding sauce just made it over-poweringly vinegar flavored. I like Eastern NC vinegar based BBQ, but this was just straight vinegar—no pepper flakes or anything else). The fried okra was good. This wasn’t bad BBQ, but this was solidly middle of the road to poor BBQ. The servers/cashiers were all incredibly pleasant, and the restaurant was clean.

The very best barbecue n slaw sandwich in n.c..(except for my dads black jack oak coal bbq).. everytime I go there I eat 3 large sandwiches.(2 1/2... I eat my 2 and then half of my wife's sandwich, lol.)and they are large as shown in the pics....

I started coming here for the BBQ, which is delicious, but my wife brought home some of their fried chicken the other day and it was quite possibly the best fried chicken I have ever ate.
