I was not sure what to expect from Rolando's, but suffice it to say we were not disappointed. I chose to try El Plato Cubano with pork, and I could not have been happier with my choice. The deconstructed presentation was reminiscent of what I imagine would be Gordon Ramsay's take on the traditionally nontraditional burrito bowl, but as beautiful as was the combination of colors and textures, the combination of flavors was even more so, especially considering the quality and experience comes for only a few dollars more per plate than a comparable amount of mere food elsewhere.

The food was amazing but service was slow and a little dishonest. While entering the building a sign said 3.00 mimosas so we had two each and when we got the bill they charged us 5.95 for each one. When we questioned it she said that was only for happy hour. We thought we misread sign so paid bill and left. As we left the sign did not say only during happy hour and on the back of the sign in small print 3-6 happy hour only.

Everyone loves this place and I have no idea why. The service was awesome but the food was just awful, the plates look like a little kid spilled paint of random colors all over a burrito and you end up with an assortment of foods and flavors you didn't anticipate ordering a simple burrito. Not my thing

Enjoyed a Popeye burrito at Rolandos. That was excellent but then had some banana/caramel/ice cream dish for dessert. Don't remember the name of the dessert dish but you must try it.
