My family and I were so pleased with the kindness and caring shone to us when my husband, Curt, died. Edward Mercer walked us through the entire process. He gave suggestions but let us choose what was best suited for us. My family was so pleased with the results during this stressful time. I would recommend their service to everyone when this difficult time occurs.

Allen Stapleton recently handled the arrangements for my father. He was wonderful throughout the entire process. Even though I called after hours, Allen responded immediately. Due to the current situation, and because I live out of the area, he was very compassionate and accommodating. We were able to handle almost everything over the phone and internet. I would highly recommend Allen and Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service.
Planning my mother’s funeral is one of the hardest things I feel I will ever have to do. With my mother in hospice, I could not bring myself to do serious planning. When it became clear that my mother was going to pass soon, I called a couple of places. The first place I called had me felling rushed and uncomfortable. Politely expressing at this point I was just checking funeral homes. Called Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service & Crematory and spoke to Allen Stapleton. He was kind and compassionate and could answer any question presented. He could not have been nicer or more patient. Crying the whole time, completely disorganized and unprepared, but he said, “Don’t worry, we’ll take care of everything.” And he did. Having my mother taken care of by Mr. Stapleton like that was, and continues to be, immeasurably comforting to me. Mothers service conducted with high dignity and respect. Allen stayed by my family’s side from the time taking her from our home until laying here beside my father. Mother looked like the angel she was; thanks to him. Mr. Stapleton has the perfect blend of professionalism and personal care. I do not know of single detail he overlooked. The whole experience was more like having someone in our family handle it than a “funeral home.” It felt personal. Allen Stapleton’s empathy to my family was astounding. The memorial DVD made by Matthew Herndon I will cherish forever. Allen and Matthew were patient with all the changes, never once complaining. Mr. Stapleton’s heart was in everything he did, for me and my family. In my heart Allen will always be part of our family. Hope this will be the only funeral I ever have to arrange, but I would 100% recommend Allen Stapleton and Sullivan’s Funeral Service & Crematory to anyone.
Allen Stapleton was kind, patient, and very flexible during this tough time in our lives. He also has a good understanding of what to expect in a Hindu ceremony.
