After reading all the reviews I was skeptical of how I would be treated. On the contrary, I made sure I was polite, had specific questions and didn't do any unnecessary conversations. I was direct and to the point, the rep was polite, answered my questions one at a time, checking and making sure they are accurate. I was satisfied with my call. She pointed out that with every call they are on a timer and reminded me that her time with me is running out. I was on the phone for 23 minutes. I applied for SS benefits on the website and didn't have a one on one meeting with any of the reps before this so it was important for me to get as much information as I could about my case. My benefits are to begin next month and I was not satisfied with the amount. She explained the math behind the benefit amount and I understood it. She offered to make an appointment for me since I had lots of questions, but by that time I was pretty much done. I thanked her and she commended me that I had very good questions to ask. Before I called, I thoroughly read the instructions and manuals to find as much information as I could and that helped me in get specific information about my case.

I've never been in, only called, but I received excellent, friendly service every time I have! Never on the phone for more than 15 minutes - yes you will go on hold, but it's an office in a busy time during a pandemic, you're going to have to expect that. Kind and helpful to me everytime!

i moved from Pa and my checks was the same but out of no where after a few months of being here they dropped my check about little over 200 in the month of dec and i have children. No clue it was happening til it was already done. First time i called i got ahold of someone but they was no help said something about earned income but yet nothing has changed and i do not have no earn income and already struggling. No way to fix this and no way of getting ahold of anyone for help. Now when you call it just rings. I need a fax number because i wanted to send a letter stating i have no earn income but no luck

I tried to get a letter of Notice of Disapproved Claim for my wife since June of 2020. We talked to 5 other reps including local and national level. This morning I called once again as we needed the letter in order for my wife to continue receiving her current insurance without a lapse of coverage. I was lucky enough to get Mr. Howze on the phone who took care of my issue in less than 5 minutes and did it professionally, expediently, and with empathy for her situation. Outstanding!

If I can rate this branch to 0, I would. The lady I spoke to over the phone was very rude. No phone etiquette. I said thank you and she didn't even responded back and when I said bye, she just hang up the phone. I wonder what kind of employee/s does this branch have. It sounded to me that they have unprofessional staff working here.
