1. Rude customer service. 2. Weird drink. Tastes like and looks like diet coke. When asked for coke, we were told it was coke. Asked a 2nd time and was given a can. 3. Ordered food to later be told it's not available. 4. Didn't even have white rice available. Said the there was no more white rice, then in my friend's bowl, they have white rice. Then the minute later, they have white rice. 5. Kept messing up our orders. 6. Didn't get water until after the meal, despite asking in the beginning (not a lot of ice too). Same happened with the coke. 7. Unsanitary. Carried an empty cup under their arm, and gave it to us to use. 8. Side dishes are not refillable, but other places do. 9. One of my friends got their food cold. 10. Food is okay. 11. Had to get our own tea.

The place is slightly run down. But the food was good. Very expensive but good. I had the beef ribs bento. It's alot of food. I'd say I'd go again for sure. Some of the dishes are a 2 or more people requirement. Not alot of choices if you're going to dine alone.

I love Korean BBQ, it's one of my favorite things in the world. They did it great here. Everything was delicious, I loved all the sides, had one of the best seafood pancakes I have ever had at a Korean BBQ. The staff was super attentive, overly so... they spent a lot of time at our table cooking for us, which I appreciate but also I like to cook for myself, as that's part of the experience. The dwaejibulgogi was not as spicy as I was expecting, but it was still really good. All in all a great experience!

My favorite restaurant on the planet. Best Korean soup and BBQ in Seattle!

I'm going to give it a five for authenticity. Without seeming racist we seem to be the only non-korean family in the place so I always view that as a sign of something special. We did struggle though not knowing what was customary and how to handle ourselves with Korean BBQ. If I had any suggestions for them it would be to help folks out a little more to guide them through the process. Otherwise the meal was fantastic! Would go back again with a little more knowledge!

I came here with three people, and we sat at the BBQ tables. The menu was very confusing and unfortunately, the waiters weren't helpful, mostly due to a language barrier. The price for the BBQ is honestly ridiculous when compared to alternatives in the Puget Sound area: if you order off the menu normally, you're looking at 35 per person if you order a single meat, and with the way the menu is designed, you have to double up all your orders. It's not even all-you-can-eat for that price. It does come with tasty tea and unlimited sides, but none of them really struck me as anything special. Thankfully, they have a very good deal for combinations, which is an order per table rather than individually, with the same sides and tea. We spent 75 to feed 3 people well, for something that would have been something like 350 otherwise (5 items at 35 each, doubled because you have to buy two orders for them to bring it to the table). This combo is honestly the only thing that kept our group from walking out. The quality of the food is good, but again nothing special compared to competitors in the area. We ordered a noodle appetizer that was a huge hit, though. It also came with an amazing sort of shaved ice dessert that had a fantastic texture and taste. All in all, I was turned off by the price, lack of unlimited meat, and the difficulty of the menu, but the combo, appetizer, and dessert helped a lot. I still have no interest in going back any time soon, and if they do away with their combo, this restaurant can go the way of the dinosaur like it deserves.

Been coming to Federal Way for Korean food for over 20 years. Western Garden is my favorite Korean restaurant right now. Great food and they don't skimp on ingredients to save save money like some other restaurants.

To whoever who gave this place 4-5 stars have no good taste palate. This place is terrible. Its rare for me to give 1-2 stars but this place got it easily. They cook 'korean cuisine' But its just how they present. I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone. *Never would I come back even if they're serving free food. Just terrible. Staff is forgetful but don't have any problems besides that. Food is just terrible. Its just the look of the restaurant that looks good but not the food. There is bathrooms and accessible walkway for disabled. But besides this.. Take my words for it, There is a even better korean restaurant I can reccomend you. This place is just wasting your money.
