So I went here last year for a silk press. Before I entered I had beautiful bra length hair. After about a week I washed my hair and I noticed that my curl pattern changed to more of a jerry curl pattern. When it dried I was still straight in some places and kinker in others. My hair is completely heat damaged and falling out above my new growth. Biggest mistake of my life going to this \salon\.

I was making an appointment, having never been to this establishment before but based on the way the receptionist spoke to me, I decided against it. I asked a simple question, if it was usual to wait an hour or two before being seen. The lady (and I use that term loosely) told me that 'things often happen and if I'm so impatient that I'm unable to wait for that time, it's best I find another salon'. With that cheeky answer, she deterred the possibility of a repeat customer, especially as I'm new to the area. I refuse to spend my hard earned money to support a business that allows their staff to speak to a customer in such a manner.

I’m use to a flawless look from the pros or making my own wig, so I don’t like or think it’s cute to see folded tracks sticking out at the back of my head or the entire lining of the track on top of my head—it’s embarrassing and not enough hair was left out. I also can’t even slightly put my hair in a low pony because my tracks and braids at the bottom was not done in the way I’m use to (else where) to make that possible. For the top, I rather be told my hair is thin etc than spend big cash to feel self conscious. Nice people but I saw the wash and straighten of hair was a better fit than sew-in jobs here.
