Have nothing but great things to say about this place. They homemake their soups and their Chicken Noodle is the best soup of anywhere in the area. Also I’m obsessed with their Beef Burgundy!! & everyone who works there is so incredibly nice.

We were visiting Detroit, and Christine's turned up as a highly recommended place that happened to be nearby when we were hungry. Thank you to the Local Guides and others that led us here. The only issue I encountered was having too much of a good thing - I ordered a St. Patty's omelette, and the server asked me if I wanted everything with it. I should have asked for details, because the omelette not only came with an terrific side of their potato hash, but also had a substantial amount of potato as part of the corned beef hash inside. The highlight at our table was my wife's side order of 3 pierogies (which she was kind enough to share). They came with carmelized onions, which were the perfect addition (along with sour cream, of course). Christine's was a wonderful place for a quick meal with friendly service.

Christine's has come to be an absolute staple for me. High quality food and high quality people. The ever classic Bomb Burrito is to die for.

Simply the BEST. Please continue to get carryout from these wonderful people during the shutdown. Best homemade soups, Eastern European cuisine as well as a nice array of other items like salads, pasta, meat dishes. So good!

Bummer city. I cannot say the food at Christine's is bad, in fact it's great. However, had an experience today that has bothered me enough to write this review based solely on their customer service. This evening my pregnant fiance put in an order for carryout. While placing the order the employee on the phone asked someone else on that end "is there any lasagna left?", and then told my fiance "we've got one left!". Cool beans. She'll take it. Fiance places order. Fiance arrives at the restaurant, comes to the counter and says she's picking an order up for K. She is told "It'll be just a minute, they're wrapping it up" before employee heads into the back, fiance takes a seat. After waiting for at least fifteen minutes she asks about the order and is told by a different person "we don't have an order for K". She says ok I'll take the lasagna, but they're all out. She then gets some explanation on how "they don't have a ticket for her order, but I'm sure you called". Not all bad, after an akward exchange they give her a gift card. Great. She then heads over to Thai Garden to pick up an order for me, but notices that after she comes out the person from Christine's was outside and staring at her. I'm glad they offered the gift card, but they didn't seem to want to take any responsibility and instead tried gaslighting my fiance into thinking she never placed the order and making her feel like she's some pregnant grifter. Gift card or not that's a one star for me, dawg.
