I disagree with both of the previous reviews. Maybe they treated you that way because of the way YOU were acting because I show them friendliness, and they show it back while also giving me deep discounts on the widest variety of wax in the area. If you're friendly, they are. Yes the owner is old, and he brings his beagle in but if you take the time to talk to him he is a huge part of the history of baseball in CT. Maybe if you TALK to him you can learn something cool. Great product, loyalty rewarded. Great place all around.

The older man makes browsing very uncomfortable. He stares at you constantly, making you feel like a criminal, and often tells you to be careful as you move about. Throw in a barking dog, an over-powering cigarette stench, and coughing, and it adds up to a place to be avoided.
