I purchased a 1985 Wellcraft Gran Sport 3400 that has a 14 year old Flagship Marine air conditioner installed and I was not sure what to expect, but to be honest, I did not have high hopes. I had two issues that I had to fix, but neither of these problems were with the Flagship Marine A/C, rather they were issues with the installation. 1) I had water leaking into the cabin area and started to diagnose why. Once I found out that it was not the A/C that was the problem but the way it was installed (no drain hose out of the condensation pan), I called Flagship Marine for information on how to right this. I spoke to Steve and he was able to tell me the parts that I needed to right the situation. I have not had water in the cabin since. 2) My A/C stopped working one day unexpectedly. I started to diagnose again and went through the system to find out what was going in. I called Flagship again and Steve was able to help me diagnose the issue after just a few phone calls. Long story short, it ended up being the thermostat wire coming loose from the panel. I have nice and cold air coming out of my vents again! These two issues could have cost me a ton of money in having a technician come aboard. Steve and team not only saved me money, but aggravation. I cannot thank this team enough, and their service and products have gone beyond what I could have hoped for in a company. This is clearly why they are still in business after 25 years. We built our Fusion 40 catamaran 5 years ago. We installed 3 different AC units from Flagship, all are still working great. I had a installation issue with 1 of the units (my fault) and Flagship was very helpful resolving the problem. I recently called to add a custom made grill vent and found the sales department very helpful.

I had a Flagship Marine 16000 BTU unit in boat I just sold for 11 years with absolutely no problems. Because of my experience I am buying a new Flagship unit for my new boat when it arrives. I highly recommend these well preforming bulletproof units to anyone with a boat.

Love my new account unit, loud blower cools the boat quick. Very large for the BTU, but it works!

I paid in full for a new marine air conditioner. 2 weeks later I received it. 2 weeks later it stopped working. it was due to the unit loosing all the freon because the the high pressure switch was not tightened well. So had to ship it back. 2 weeks later they tighten the switch, recharge it and send it back. Then it gets lost in shipping. I wait a week for them to find it. They can't find it but they require me to wait till they find it (without any end date). 6 weeks after purchase, still no AC unit. If they believed in customer service, they would have sent me a new unit while they chased down the lost one.

I bought a 18,000 BTU unit that came with a 11,000 BTU compressor. Bench testing shows a maximum output of 13,000 BTUs. This is a scham. Beware!!!
