KDI has been creating art featuring my family for 15 years. Kristen has an amazing talent for bringing out people's personality in a picture. This fall we did my son's Senior pictures, which will be treasured forever. She is easy to work with, and great with kids. Our first shoot was 15 years ago when my kids were very young. Those pictures are still on our walls and make us all smile daily.

I was introduced to Kristen and KDI back in 2016 when I started a new position and was sent there to get a photo taken for my new ID. The experience was so amazing and my photo came out so beautiful that I knew I would go back eventually. Fast forward to 2020 when my husband and I were looking to take family photos with our new baby. I immediately reached out to Kristen because I knew that I wanted her to capture those moments. The experience was amazing! From the time we scheduled our first meeting up until now when I have already received my photos and cards Kristen was on it. So personable and professional with making sure we have everything we need. She is amazing about respecting what you want as a subject while providing her expertise and her and her team are just so cool. I highly recommended KDI Photography.

Kristin is amazing. She took the time to get to know what my daughter wanted for her senior pictures. She walked her through wardrobe, make-up, lighting and setting. We are over the top happy with the quality of photos and the entire experience. Highly recommend KDI!!!!

Kristen is the absolutely most amazing photographer! Even with mask and social distancing, she made us feel welcomed and safe. The pictures she took were perfect, capturing the eal\ us! The prephoto shoot meeting was so helpful to discuss what poses we wanted to be sure to have. She also helped design what size and style of pictures we would want so she could be sure to shoot them appropriately. Phenomenal photographer!

Kristen has photographed my family for the past 12 years. She has washed us grow and change. We too have had the privilege of watching her talents, business, studios and cameras morph into the success of what KDI Photography is today. As her business grew she quickly learned that giving away her weekends to photography shoots meant losing priceless time with her family. I now book our sittings towards the end of the summer when everyone is relaxed and care-free. We sometimes have a German exchange student staying with us who sits in a few portraits. It makes a great memoir of our time together. In the summer there is also no school schedule to work around, plenty of time to think about Christmas cards and availability to meet with Kristen. I always pick my Christmas cards up before Thanksgiving. This year I addressed and stamped them early and sent them out the week after Thanksgiving! I don't have to think about them anymore during the Christmas crunch. AND I get to hear back from friends and family the entire Christmas season. There's a wall in my house where all of the years of photos are displayed. It used to be just an empty wall. Now I stop and remember those years as I walk by. I hear the laughter of small voices and the patter of little feet echo in my head. I see where they were and where they are now. I remember the hard times, and see their smiles. The ardurous journey of motherhood seems to be paying off. Thank you Kristen for giving me the gift of perspective. I think overall I'm doing an okay job.
