I took classes with Nelida Tirado, and I can't recommend her enough. I was already dancing professionally. She introduced me to the art of flamenco and helped me to become a more capable dancer. I would recommend her as well if you don't have any dance experience. Many of her beginner students have gone on to do well. Nelida is a gem.

I absolutely loved taking dance classes from Aurora, back when my schedule allowed it. She is an excellent teacher and it was an amazing experience performing under her guidance, with Basilio's guitar and cante students. And although I am sadly not currently able to fit classes in my schedule I have kept in contact with both of them. I recently arranged to have Basilio and Aurora come to the school where I teach to give a presentation of Flamenco music and dance to our youngest students (K-3). I can personally attest to how skilled they are in presenting to any audience or age group. They had all of our students engaged, singing, and clapping along as they learned about the components of Flamenco.

We hosted a Folk Art event at Pelham Art Center with Flamenco Latino. They were professional, friendly, and dynamic performers. Our guests had a spectacular time--we truly enjoyed working with Flamenco Latino.
