The Continental Company has always planned to close the Fletcher NC plant and move US jobs to Mexico for cheaper labor. Management by Continental Management Team has lead to several plant closures across the US. The plant closure in Fletcher should be no surprised and will leave a void in the community. Too many people will be unemployed long term no thanks to Continental.
