My wife and I never knew this shoe store was there until we sponsored the Kiwanis Hot Fudge run. When we were dropping off materials for the run, I just asked if they had a particular brand shoe. To my surprise they did. Anthony the sales man took amount of time to measure my and my wife’s feet and explained a lot to us. We are now new customers of theirs because of the customer service we received!

Complete Runner is an unexpectedly GREAT running store in Flint. Employees are runners themselves, and they understand their extensive line of shoes. I'm an experienced runner, and I know what I'm looking for, but I'm usually up for trying out something new, at least inside the store. After talking with me briefly, the young gentleman who was helping me brought out several different brands and styles to try. Some of the brands were new to me, and I appreciate that the store carries such a wide variety. The two guys who were working that day filled me in on how to get connected with the running community in Flint. Highly recommend this store!
I started running 5 years ago. I knew nothing about shoes. I bought stuff off the clearance rack at a department store at first. When I got serious about running I went to another local running shoe store that treated me like I was a bother to them. I ended up injured, which was my own fault, because I was running in a vacuum of information. I read a negative review of that other store that mentioned how much better Complete Runner was, and the rest is history. The first thing I’ll say about Complete Runner is that they listen. They are going to ask you questions, evaluate you and give you confidence that you’re matched with the right shoes. I have learned so much about running from the staff. Every Thursday there are group runs from the store (all year-round!), sometimes hosted by brand representatives who bring demo shoes to try out. Everyone is really friendly and loves to share their passion for running. I’ve bought 15 pairs of shoes from Complete Runner and have zero regrets. It’s worth making the trip to see the difference a professional store can make.
Love these guys. My wife recommended them to me, as she had a very good experience there. And now I'm recommending them to you. If you want/need running shoes, this is the place to go. Friendly, competent, and no in-your-face tactics. I am new to running, and they were very patient. I bought a new pair of shoes that were comfortable in the store, but ended up killing my feet after only two runs. I figured I had wasted my money, since I tried them on in the store and had used them twice. But I took them back anyway just to see what they would say. They took the shoes back with no problems, and then found me another pair that feel wonderful. That's the sort of service that earns you a repeat customer.
I made a random call to the Complete Runner at Court and Dort Hwy. I merely asked for a specific shoe for my granddaughter and gave an explanation why I need that shoe. They did not have it - but asked for my name and number to check in to it. This was not my request but Jason volunteered. Soon I received a call back from Antonino. Both of these gentleman went over and above to take care me a random call to their store. They were concerned about my granddaughter being fitted with the proper shoe and fit! This service is not common these days but I tell you that I will no longer be going to the competition! Thank you
