When it was time to get rid of the carpet and go with vinyl waterproof flooring because of the animals, I turned to Flooring America. I initially met with Trisha. She was very knowledgeable and was able to help me find the right flooring in our budget. She was very easy to work with and helped me through every step of the process. Yesterday Andres and his helper came to intall the new flooring. They were on time and very respectful to us and our home. Their work was beautiful and you could tell that detail was important to them. They also took pride in their work and explained what they were doing. They also worked very efficiently and were able to complete the job in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend Flooring America to anyone.

Unfortunately I did not have a great experience with Flooring America. I was quoted over the phone for around 100. I was also quoted 100 IN PERSON. The first appointment was rescheduled due to a hurricane. The second appointment was missed by us because we were not at the house and they did not have a phone number for us (I'm not sure why?). The third appointment a new person came (they were supposed to fix the flooring this time) and then said he couldn't fix it because he thought he was just supposed to look at it and did not have enough material for it. The fourth appointment he finally came and when I called to pay over the phone I was charged 180. The vinyl replaced was a 5x1 section and a 3x3 section at 10 Commando Avenue.

I wish I could write a positive review of this company, because I love the flooring product (color, finish, durability). However, we believe the installation of our floating LVT floor was done incorrectly and has led to buckling of the LVT itself and the popping-off of quarter-round from the baseboard. The website says that Flooring America of Fayetteville specifically honors lifetime install warranties (see photo), but even after we had a contractor come out to inspect the subfloor for moisture or structural damage, the Flooring America owner has been adamant that the flooring issues are due to improper installation. This is not to mention the adhesive stains and the 'forgotten' closet during install (i.e. the original installation team had to be called out several times after their initial visit to remedy issues). I'm hoping that there can be a positive resolution from writing this review, and I will gladly update this if/when the problem is remedied. Love the product, but so far highly disappointed in the company's response and their install team. UPDATE- After hiring another contractor to come out to inspect the floors and write a report for us, Flooring America has honored their lifetime installation guarantee. I'm not super thrilled about coming out of pocket to hire a general contractor to inspect the work of a professional company, but I'm pleased that the floors are being repaired now.

We've used this company twice for carpeting and I wish we'd use them initially when we had hardwoods put in by a larger, less honest company. Mark is one of the most responsive and friendly people I've ever worked with for home improvement projects and I will continue to go to this company for as long as we live here. Highly recommended.

I can't say enough about Klinton and the whole team at Flooring America. In the last 3 years I've used them multiple times in my personal home as well as my rehab properties and have never been disappointed. It's so difficult today to find local contractors that actually follow through on what they promise. But with Flooring America, I've never been misled, overcharged or let down. Klinton always respects my budget, my time and my input. I'll definitely be using them again!
