Called and asked how much to swap a tire ON MY MOWER and they said it would cost 40 per tire and I had my own tires!!! The tires cost less than what they are charging to install!!!! Please don’t let these people rob you!! There are plenty of other places that do the swap for 10 a tire. THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF!!!!

No good deed go unpunished. A few days ago, an Art Lawn’s worker delivered a brand new riding lawn mower at my house. The worker ran the door bell and just left it with keys in my driveway. I put it in my garage for safekeeping and was going to call the shop the following day because I looked up the number and the shop already closed. However, that evening some workers returned and asked if I had the lawn mower. I did the right thing and told them I had it. I help them retrieve the lawn mower. The next day I called the shop and asked to speak with the manager. I introduced myself and explained what happened. In sum I told him ironically I needed a lawn mower and that I returned the lawn mower because it was the right thing to do as neighbors. I asked if there were any sales or something that can be done to assist me since I save them from a heart ache, I could have been difficult with them. The guy who identified himself on the phone just gave me brief thank you and said they sell lawn mowers and the cheapest is 1500. I was expecting at least he say come in and we will take care of you since you had our backs. No he just told me they sell lawn mowers, which I knew that. Experience like this makes me think being nice doesn’t work all the time. Need to work on potential customer services.

Got a quote for a repair of my lawn mower. Brought it in, and when they finished they gave me a bill 75% higher than their quote. Was told the quote didn't include parts, and they didn't call with an updated quote unless it was 150 higher than the quote. Will not go back if I can't trust them to give an honest quote for work.

I work here so my opinion is probably biased. They have been in business since 1951. Until Covid hit both Marlin and Pat, the owners worked every day and worked longer than the 9 hrs per day that the employees worked. Because of their age their daughter kept them away from the store. Our customers love us and many have been customers for decades we have 3rd and some 4th generation customers. This is because we treat our customers the right way.
