Top Hat is a really nice dance studio. Their reputation for training professional dancers is true. Their reputation for training young dancers is legit. I was a Top Hat dancer, my children trained at Top Hat for over a decade and now my grandson is a Top Hat dancer. His soccer ability is so much stronger because he has dance training. Beside that, he loves it! A note about summer classes: Summer classes are just that, summer classes. If your child takes them, they will be farther along than the kids that don’t...sorta like taking summer college courses, you move along at a faster pace to reach your goal. It is your choice, not a forced choice. Not real sure why one of the reviewers was upset by the fact that a dance studio offers summer classes to help dancers advance in their training. I guess my advice to them is to go train somewhere else, but the training will not be anywhere near the training your dancer receives at Top Hat...period. Anyway, Top Hat has been voted the best dance studio in Denton County for too many years to count, has professional, working and award winning dancers come out of their studio. I am very thankful they have been a part of my family’s life for over 30 years.

Rude owner. Lied to me on the phone yesterday when I told her to take my number off their call list. She took a defensive tone with me and did not bother to call to apologize for the mix up. No, I don't owe you money. No, I have never used your dance services before. Unprofessional to not check which numbers you are calling and leaving voice mails on. Yes, your call was an inconvenience to me. It doesn’t matter if you intentionally made a mistake or not. Because of your error, you interrupted a scheduled interview I had. Also, you left a voice mail on the wrong number with potentially private payment information about one of your customers. So, you not only should have called me to apologize for screwing up my phone interview with your absent-mindedness, you should call the customer to let them know you left their payment information on someone else’s phone. But since you lack basic apology skills, of course you won’t do that. Not sure how this lady is a business owner!

Stay away from this place. Your forced to put your kid in summer sessions. If not, they will not advance. This place is a joke.
