Taryn absolutely blew me away from the moment that we met her. She makes EVERY step of the wedding cake process so seamless and exciting. Her presentation is perfection, from the cake tasting box to the wedding cake itself. We had the hardest time picking out a cake flavor because they were all incredible. I sent Taryn a picture of the wedding cake design we wanted. She said she had never done a wafer paper cake design before, but that she would start watching Youtube videos and learn how to do it so we could have the cake we wanted. When I saw the cake for the first time, you would have never known she didn’t specialize in this design. I was so taken aback by how perfect it was- better than the photo we had once showed her. I cannot recommend Taryn and Flowerchild enough. She makes the process so simple, seamless, exciting, and her cakes and deserts are truly a piece of art.

Taryn, the owner and baker of Flowerchild Desserts, was recommended to me by someone else. I was blown away with the beauty of her cakes and knew immediately that I wanted her to make my daughter's first birthday cake and smash cake. I showed her examples of her previous work that I loved as well as the invitations, favor tags and thank you cards for my daughter's birthday and I let her run with it. She did NOT disappoint! The cakes were absolute perfection! I chose the Lavender Lemon cake for the big cake and a strawberry and cream for the smash cake. They were both amazing! Taryn was great to work with, very responsive and professional. I have already asked if I can get on her books for my birthday cake! Definitely highly recommend Flowerchild Desserts. You will NOT be disappointed!
I follow Flowerchild on Instagram and knew they were the only options for me to get my wedding cake from. We received the tasting box and had the most difficult time deciding on which flavor (they are all soooo good) so we ended up choosing two cakes! The lemon lavender was the most gorgeous flavor for a white wedding cake and the banana cookie butter made a fun flavor addition for our guests to enjoy. The way Taryn incorporates the florals and makes each cake unique is what drew us to her. Thank you Taryn so much for your incredible creativity and delicious cakes!
Flower Child Desserts made my wedding cake. It was not only gorgeous, but delicious!! If you are wanting red velvet, it is amazing! I also used Flour Child to make Lemon-Lavender Cupcakes for a pre-wedding party and I can’t wait to have an excuse to order more! Whatever your occasion...Flour Child can make a great cake. Taryn was very professional and a great communicator. You have peace of mind when she is handling your desserts.
Cannot recommend Flowerchild enough! Taryn was incredibly responsive and took in consideration all of my requests to create the perfect birthday cake for my bestie. Not only are her cakes incredibly gorgeous and adorned with beautiful fresh flowers, it was the best tasting cake my friends and I have ever had! That's so rare with cakes that are that pretty! My experience with Flowerchild Desserts was amazing! Taryn was very responsive and professional. She was able to create a wonderful and delicious cake for our 18th anniversary which was not only breathtaking but tasted so good! I was very happy with them. They got back to me quickly. The cake was beautiful and very tasty! She brought it on time. I was a little worried because we are from out of town and didn’t know which bakery to choose but so glad we went with this one. Everything went perfectly! ️
