Former regular street that was closed/paved from vehicle traffic that makes for good open/community space. They have cultural events here and gatherings during the Summer and Fall months. Not the cleanest area and you have some undesireables around but, you are able to social distance somewhat and there are chairs and tables provided by the city. At around sunset/9pm workers do collect/secure (lock) them up.

Alrighty...so where do I even begin? Here is this place, appropriately called “Diversity Plaza”, smack dab right in the place where major transit lines criss-cross at 74th St. Broadway (7 line) and Jackson Heights Roosevelt Ave (E,F,M,R trains) as well as busses and whatever else! It also happens to be in the midst of the most ethnically diverse urban area on the planet! (Queens). Yeah, that is quite significant for any lover of culture! The businesses here are also hardy and thriving in the throes of the crisis that has gripped us all this past year! Having 20-20 vision, I totally have no regret for all the visits here and I would gladly visit here as often as possible!
Well it is diversified. People of all color eating samosas , dumpling or biryani. Talk about melting pot.
