Visited years ago and the food and service was wonderful. There must be new owners because a lot has changed. They didn't care enough to even clean the snow from their patio and were turning away customers due to lack of outdoor seating. No one was wearing a mask when we first arrived.. I'd say we were \lucky\ to get the one table that was available outside - but the owner didn't even seem excited to have a paying customer. Not the greeting I was expecting being that we were the only people there, aside from the group who arrived after us who was turned away. Seems that the owners and staff would've much rather been sitting at the bar doing nothing. The waitress must still be learning because someone else had to come pour our beers for us and she had us waiting for way too long even though we were literally the only customers there. She rushed us to order our entrees before the appetizers even came out, even though there was an hour until the kitchen closed. She also neglected to clear the tiny table we were seated at. I get that we are going through a pandemic and times are hard for small businesses but in my experience they have usually appreciated the support. Not sure if the new owners just don't care, but between the decline in the quality of the food since they have taken over and the now-horrible service being provided, I definitely won't be returning or recommending this place to anyone.

My friend suggested this spot one rainy summer night lately and we had a lot of fun. The restaurant was clean, comfortable and cozy. The servers were very friendly, relaxed but attentive – if you can imagine what that looks like! I had the cauliflower dish and my friend had the schnitzel. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. I thought the roasted cauliflower and hummus dish quite imaginative. It was a flavorful vegetable dish. I can imagine having a drink here with friends, at any time and in any weather. The prices are fair for Queens NY, with entrees that cost about 20.
From the first moment you step in that place the personel give you a pleasant feeling. Very friendly team, it is a good restaurant to go out with friends or with your date. Great food, qualified chef, decent price and attentive service. Warmly recommended.
I regularly stop purchasing some food in this spot. I liked the rapid customer service and well made food. Highly recommended.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. When we arrived, we were seated immediately, and we're given the choice of inside or outside. We chose to stay inside. We ordered the the Wurst Sample Platter which is a platter with a bratwurst, knackwurst, and a bockwurst. All three is tasty in its own right, especially paired with their mustard. My wife had the Pork Schnitzel, crispy pork chop doused in a gravy. So good! And for dessert, we had their lava cake; perfectly melted chocolate inside the cake. It went great with the vanilla ice cream.
