Awesome experience! In addition to a great lesson, I learned so much about the ocean. Jenny was amazing. If you're a woman looking to try surfing for they first time and you're hesitant, call Shaka! They'll hook you up! Such a supportive experience.

They really taught me a lot about surfing. My husband got me lessons for Mother’s Day, and it was an amazing gift. I highly recommend this surf school!
The crew over at Shaka Surf School are wonderful humans and incredibly knowledgable about surfing Folly Beach. Jenny is amazing with kids and first time surfers, my family had a blast learning how to surf with her. If you can catch a beach yoga session, you'll really get the full experience!

We took a lesson with Jenny and Chris and it was my favorite part of our trip to folly. They were so welcoming and helpful. I didn’t have high hopes for my surfing ability but they had me up and riding some waves. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to learn to surf. I will definitely be back
