Light Rail is an excellent option for anyone looking to get to Sacramento or needing to link into the Amtrack system. Avoid the traffic, save on gas and enjoy a stress free trip to the city. It takes about 45 min, which if you travel during rush hour means you save time as well. This station has an awesome bike locker as well, part of bike link...so you can enjoy an auto free trip to the city if you wish.

If you're looking for a place in folsom to get on the light rail, this is one of your best bets, along with Glenn and sutter streets. Other places in folsom are probably possible, but it will be difficult because the train doesn't stop anywhere else so you'll be running along side... Jumping in... Could be difficult.
