My husband and I stayed here for 4 days for our 20th anniversary. We found them online and it was perfect. Secluded, peaceful, quiet. They have a lot of activities that you can try - hiking trails, kayaking, fishing- but we just relaxed. We stayed in the River Chalet. Beautiful view. We will stay here again and might even bring the kids next time!

We spent the weekend at Little River Bluffs. I am Chef/Owner of a restaurant in New Orleans and never have any time to just leave the city and relax without my phone blowing up every five minutes. My wife, daughter and I booked last minute and were extremely excited to get away. When we arrived we received the grand tour of the property by the owners Blaine and Loretta. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about what we could expect on our retreat to the woods. The girls loved kayaking in the river and just lounging on the tubes and enjoying nature. The cabin we stayed in (the guest house) was awesome and perfect size for our family. There was so much to do that I wish we would have stayed the week to get it all in. Extremely relaxing stay and a great way to recharge the batteries. We will be back multiple times in the future and I’ve already started telling my customers at the restaurant about our stay and recommending Little River Bluffs to anyone trying to get away from the city and wanting to see Louisiana nature in a relaxing, welcoming, beautiful setting. Keep up the great work Blaine and Loretta. You guys have a hidden gem there.
It was very relaxing and fun . The people are really great . You have to come and enjoy it for yourself .
As soon as I pulled onto the property, a sense of peace and well being came over me. The owners, Loretta and Blake, were so accommodating and welcoming. The cabin we stayed in was beautiful and complete with a fully equipped kitchen and clean quaint bathrooms. There are also complimentary bicycles available to ride around the woods that surround the cabins. I would highly recommend this beautiful place for a couples get away or a family weekend.
My husband and I stayed in the Chalet for a few days as an Anniversary Get Away!!! We fell in love the minute we drove it. It’s so peaceful and quiet. The grounds are beautiful and the cabin was so clean and charming!! I really wish we could have stayed longer, but we will definitely be back for future trips. Blain and Loretta, thank y’all for loving this place so much because it allows others like us to come in and love it!!! See y’all next time!!
