Not just for fishing. The small camping spots stick out into the lake giving a great space for viewing the night sky away from the tree line. The lake is also far enough from any city for great dark sky. I believe each site has a fire pit and grill. The roads are not great but worth the destination.

Such a treasure, thus nice quiet lake area is tucked away off the beaten path, it has decent restrooms, camping is done on peninsulas that extend into the lake, there is a boat ramp, plenty of hiking, and access to the River is available in spots... I have enjoyed many campouts and fishing trips to this SFL, and will be returning more :-)
Great camping. Very quiet and peaceful.
Always love going camping and fishing here. Its free and no one around to bother you.
This place is AMAZING .. nice people... very clean nice bathroom .. laundry it's a great place to get away :)
