If you are looking for a place to call your own while in Kure Beach... this is definitely the place to go. The culture is relaxing, the accommodations are quite and clean, the beach access is directly across the street and the staff is AMAZING!

First time staying. Mid September, so off season rates. Incredible benefit if your a military retiree. We stayed in a 3 bedroom. Clean, comfortable but cannuse extra towels and pillows. However, thats typical for military housing. Will come back!

We visit this place a couple times a year. It’s a great environment and close to the beach. We stay in 3 bedroom houses and they aren’t much but work for the trip to the beach. They’re comfortable inside but the beds are a little stiff. You have a fridge and a stove/oven with a couple of pots and pans. Water pressure in showers aren’t that great but suffice to clean yourself. The buildings are close to the beach and it’s just across the street from the beach. It makes taking my toddler to the beach very easy which we love. This place works great for our family for a couple trips a year. You do have to call well in advance to get reservations but it’s not a huge inconvenience. Go visit them, you won’t regret it.

Had a wonderful time on base. Kayak tour was fun. Very serene and tranquil to float out on Cape River for a while. A bit nervous about the alligators though. We actually saw one (young alligator) right where we let the Kayaks into the water. Bathroom facilities were filthy, I didnt like that. But service was amazing. I cannot remember her name, but particularly the nice girl from UNC-W that worked at the rentals for the summer.
