I got my captains license at this school, as well as my CPR/First aid class and I must say that this place is great!! All the employees at SeaSchool are extremely helpful. Starting with Julie at the front desk all the way to the St Petersburg staff. I took the class with John Vitelli and I must say that he is one great instructor!! made all the testing pretty easy because he gives a lot of tips!! I think it's great the way he gives a lot of personal experiences during his class! I was a little skeptical at first from previous reviews but I am very happy that he was our instructor!!! I passed all the test on the first try! This is a license that you really need to want in order to get it, it takes a lot of time, effort, and studying!! Basically if you make the homework and study you will pass the test!

John the instructor is fantastic my husband is taking the class and getting ready to take the exam on Tuesday John is a walking Book of Knowledge to captain's license n the rules of the ocean he's very knowledgeable he's very helpful and sea school is very lucky to have n instructor that is so knowledgeable and knows his stuff backwards and forwards

I sat for my OUPV Captains test yesterday, I took the course online. That was a tough way to do it but was my only choice. I never interacted with the school accept for yesterday. I met one of their instructors, John, who is a captain and fisherman from N. Miami. He impressed me with his people skills as he was truly concerned for his students. He assisted everyone there, answered the phone, answered questions and was professional about his work. He is an asset to the school. I suggest that you call him if you get hung up doing the online course. I give it 5 stars.

All the employees at SeaSchool are extremely helpful. The office, captain, and testing staff at Ft Lauderdale, phone staff in St Petersburg, registration and admin people, even the online training help staff when they are slammed with calls/classes/events try very hard to help. I really feel they are in my corner while trying to pass the OUPV license. This is good because I am nervous as heck.

I just finished testing for my captains license, masters upgrade and towing indorsement. Passed all the first time. I feel like the preparation provided by Sea School and especially Captain John were outstanding. I would definitely recommend. Thanks for all the help and encouragement.
