Best time I've had on a catamaran boat. It's so relaxing to lay on the net and feel the breeze. Matt and Steve were great guides. It's BYOB so I mean c'mon
These guys are awesome. You can just tell they love what they do and sailing is part of their lives. We really enjoyed the fun stories about the millionaire rows (now billionaire rows given the house values) and the generous pour of the wine. For 50 bucks, you get a full 2 hour excursion in the canal and on the ocean. They are operating at 50% capacity. We went on a Monday night and there were only 12 people including us. Enough room to spread around and every group is like 10 feet from another. Once the sail starts and wind starts blowing, you don't need mask on. Perfect Covid friendly activity. It was a great value and we had such a blast. When people love what they do, they will show you a good time. Book with these guys. Totally fun!!
Positives: Captain was nice and well informed on the properties in the intercontinental. They played fun music on the boat Champaign was free! Properties and yachts in the intercontinental were gorgeous Negatives: The explanation of the trip said we'd be going to the ocean and we never made it out of the intercontinental. This was due to high winds. We had booked a 2 hr trip and they brought us back after 1.5 hrs It was advertised sodas and snacks were free on the website, but they charged for them when you got there. It was advertised the drinks at the bar were 3 on the website, but they were charging 5 Staff told us to check in on the boat 30 minutes before, but the boat told is to check in at the office (which was closed) The office texted to say they may cancel due to high winds, but then said everything was a go. They never informed us that we would not be making it out to the ocean. We didn't find that out till getting on the boat. Overall: Them texting because of the weather and then cutting the ocean out of the trip and then cutting it short by 30 minutes shows they should have canceled the trip. Allowed us a refund. This did not happen. In fact when they texted originally to tell me they may need to cancel, I asked if I should just cancel right then so we could plan something nice for our last day of activities and they told me o refunds\. The way the day ended with the way that conversation went just felt like they were more worried about the business and not what was right.
we had an amazing time with Captain Jason & Vic ! they took care of everything we needed, made it very fun and informative. The music was and overall vibe of the trip and was so fun. I highly recommend anyone that just wants to enjoy a great day on the water to come see these guys !!
