Great company with great service! I have always used West Marine for all my boating needs due to their variety of inventory and the knowledge of the floor staff. However, without going into details, recently one West employee ripped me off for quite a bit of money. When I brought it to the store's attention, the Fort Lauderdale store manager, Becky, did a fantastic job of verifying the allegations I had made. Long story short, my money was refunded and the bad employee was let go. Thank you Becky and West Marine resolving my issue so professionally and expeditiously!

If you can’t find it here . . . Largest West Marine store in the country ? Did I hear that correctly. Great staff. From the greeter that can tell you what aisle to check, to the service guy that recognizes the most obscure parts to the friendly staff at the check out counters. If you are in Ft Lauderdale and you need something nautical, check here.

Would be great if they weren't constantly out of stock of normal sailing related supplies. Empty shelves and nothing on order. Have to constantly make requests or they tell me it will be faster to just order on the website.
