It was such a blessing to have Brad and others on my team at this time. I want to encourage you to talk to Brad about paying for things in advance. It was such a difference from my Daddy and now my Mom’s service. You don’t have to live in the state. My Mom lived in ColoradoSprings at her time of death. I was disappointed and shocked yesterday, when I attended the graveside service for Mr. Leo Comstock. With the skies blue and the temperature at 91 degrees, the following Cheney Witt failures were evident to everyone in attendance: (1) Mr. Comstock's wife, age 95 was placed, facing the sun (2) although a framework had been set up, NO canopy was added to block the family members from sitting for over an hour in the hot sun (3) given the heat, direct sun, and wind, Cheney Witt did not have a single drop of water available to the family members. I am confident that the large profit you made on this service could have supported a canopy, water and a little bit of common sense. Disappointing!
The staff at Cheney-Witt (Matt, Brad, Adam & Nick) are all incredibly professional, detail-oriented , and a pleasure to work with. Fort Scott is lucky to have such a world-class team in their community!
