Couch Lady

I submitted a review two years ago, including posting photos. Apparently the photos need to be reposted. Neither of my two sofas have miraculously improved. I would not use this merchant for upholstery needs. I was forced to give the merchant one star in order to post. Obviously, he has not earned it.

Goodness! My experience with J&D Interiors has been a nightmare! I had two couches reupholstered. The results were: scorched seams, damaged material used on custom arm covers, back cushions unable to set on arm rests, and back cushions so distorted they do not meet in the middle, creating a 2-inch gap. It gets worse. The wrong material was used. The material draped over the couch is the material I specified and paid for. Obviously, it did not get ordered and used in the job.

I was told I had to leave CC on file to get a SAMPLE. They then wrote my CC info down on a piece of paper and put it in a drawer upfront that anyone can walk in and open. I don't know who feels this is a safe practice but this is how people end up in a dispute with their cc company. I will not be sending any of my future clients here.

No one from where I work was able to go pick out fabric for an upholstery job we were doing. We are a distance away. We sent them samples of the sofa material, and they sent us fabric samples for the curtains. They were very quick and gave us great choices to choose from. We tell our customers to go to J&D for their fabric selections.
