I love Luby's. When I was growing up this was a after church ritual for family time. Things have changed since then. The food is still good. Pandemic rules apply to all who enter the doors. The staff is friendly and pleasant to customers and very helpful to seniors and special needs citizens. Come out and show your support for this business before it is no longer in existence. This is a sit down with your family eat, talk and enjoy one another tradition that we should not take for granted. Times are changing and this may one day be a thing of the past that we wish we could have kept going. Being able to go in and have a full family like, homemade from scratch meal. Give them a visit.

I came here on a suggestion from a co-worker and it's the first time I've been here in years! WOW! I came at 11:30am on a Monday and the food was super fresh still coming on the line while I was ordering. The service was excellent and I felt very welcome here post-pandemic. They start with salads, choice of meats (grilled, fried, or broiled), then 2 sides, bread, and choice of dessert, if desired. The dining room was clean but I ordered to go. They also give a military discount so thank you Luby's for supporting your military!

I haven't been to a Luby's before but saw it advertised on Texas Bucket List TV show and then heard in the news they will be closing. So, we decided to try it. It is Just OK. It wasnt clear how to eat here as you need to find where to start, then figure out if you want a combo or just alla cart. There is a bunch of food in a line of chilled and hot lines to choose from. It all looks good but there are no alla cart prices listed so who knows what you will pay until you get to the payment station. I always remember cafeteria's to have prices shown on every item. The flavors are old style and not up to today's palets. Nothing is awesome. Everything's unfortunately was just ok. It seems lime the problem is that all the food is pre-cooked so they can't keep it too hot or it will over cook everything. However, by the time you get your drink, pay for your meal and find a table, your food is cold. I don't see a future with this business model the way it is.
