I was on hold for 6 hours yesterday. Literally called the office this morning at 8:01 they open at 8 and I’ve been on hold for 20 minutes. When I call the medicad offices back home they answer fast and are always helpful. They just can’t get anything done from their end I have to go through this very slow Fort Worth office. It’s to the point I’m about to just walk into the building and ask these people why they don’t answer their hotline this is ridiculous I shouldn’t have to visit the actual location with this virus spitting out new dangerous strains. Just answer the phones !!!

I moved here from another city notified them of the change gave my current address and they never changed the county so they input NEW ADDRESS with my OLD CITY/COUNTY. My BABY is LESS THAN TWO MONTHS OLD and I tried to see what clinic would take my Medicaid but it wouldn’t cover him since it was still set in El Paso county. I was referred to this office so they could correct THEIR mistake and expedite it and my baby could get his 2ND MONTH CHECK UP AND VACCINES. I was, I’m sorry still am on hold it’s been one hour forty one minutes and thirty two seconds. I offered to pay this visit at clinics out of pocket but THEY WONT TREAT MY ONE AND A HALF MONTH OLD because it’s illegal to take my money since we have Medicaid but nobody in Tarrant county is helping me. I need help...very poor service to have people on hold almost two hours.

Wednesday Feb.23rd phone says open until 5 pm. Nottt, it was closed tighter than a drum no one around.

Clean facility, polite staff. Other applicants seemed to be oblivious to the safety standards enacted by Covid-19. I was called to window few minutes early and was grateful for the extra distancing.
