Our Class A 33' Forest River RV broke down on Aug 25 near Redcrest, CA. After calling 10 repair shops in Eureka and Fortuna, only the experts at Peterson Cat in Fortuna were willing to try to work on it. Humboldt towing helped us get there and the repair was quick and affordable (140). Well brought in the rig to have them get it started and to check the belt make sure it's on correctly. They assured me that they would get me back on the road safely. After waiting a week in town because they ordered the wrong part we got on our way only to now find out that the belt was never checked and it was on wrong now I'm spending hundreds more to have a real shop look at it and repair the engine correctly! What bad way to run a peterson cat. Drag your rig anywhere but peterson cat.
