Stopped in store on July 3 looking for a big leather chair. My boyfriend and I walked in and began browsing. A saleswoman at a desk near the entrance looked at us and went back to what she doing on her computer, never even greeting us. A woman with her two daughters came in shortly after us and the same saleswoman jumped up and was happy to help them. I approached another saleswoman after not finding what I wanted. I said I wanted “a big Leather chair or a chair and a half with an ottoman.” She kept showing me things that came in faux leather. After being adamant that I wanted real leather, she told me she’d take my name and number and call me once she looked into pieces that came in leather. It’s been a month now and no call. I’ve since bought a real leather chair with an ottoman from Lazyboy. Had what I wanted not been available for order, I would have appreciated a call, at the very least, to inform me of that. I love supporting local business, but from the experience in store to lack of communication, Kurlancheeks drove me to a big box store. I’m not sure why my money wasn’t good enough for Kurlancheeks, but Lazboy was happy to take my money; they even sent a thank you note in the mail.
