Great place to get away for a day. Bring a snack and your swim wear and you'll be in for a nice relaxing day. If you're feeling adventurous you cliff dive but note that there are many places to enjoy the cool water, you don't have to only hang by waterfall

Love this place to go to and just sit by the creek and relax!

Fossil creek is probably the best day hike you can do in all of Arizona. My favorite part about it is that 1/2 the year you are required to buy a permit through the forest service. This keeps it from becoming overly crowded. Please keep in mind that 4x4 is recommended as the road is rough in some parts.

I'll be doing this again for sure. What a beautiful and peaceful place. It can get quite got in the dead of summer, but the water more than makes up for it.

This place was awesome to visit. We went to the bottom to the waterfall trail, which took at least a hour to take the 17 mile road down doing 10mph due to the bumps and rocks in the road but was worth every moment. The Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk had plenty of clearence There is no trash service so make sure you take out what you bring in.
