One of the most beautiful hikes I’ve ever done. However, you need to take a lot of water with you and an electrolyte drink. At least a gallon (in my opinion) made the mistake of just taking a regular water bottle and it was definitely not enough. Going back up, I experienced dehydration and lack of electrolytes. The weather was hot too, so I suggest starting in the early morning. Besides that though, I loved the water pools at the bottom! It was very refreshing and just a beautiful sight to take in.

It doesn’t feel like your in Arizona when your on this trail. It’s so green and beautiful. I went in June and the water was still icy cold. It felt great!

The waterfall is absolutely amazing. I will warn you though the almost 15 miles on a washboard dirt road seems hopeless at times! Just when you think you are almost to the end you're not even close! It is worth the drive but you must have some patience to drive for an hour on a dirt road like that! The hike to the waterfall wasn't bad only 1 mile ( from the waterfall parking lot). Don't forget to purchase a parking permit! There were lots of pretty stops along the way of the creek getting to the waterfall. Even a rope swing! Luckily not much trash found along Trails or near the waterfall. Please help keep this area clean and pick up after yourself! All in all it was an amazing experience and the water was so clear and refreshing! Make sure you bring enough water to drink and some snacks. Go out and enjoy the beauty of nature! Truly a great experience :)

We parked at Homestead. About a 2 mile hike just to the trail head and then another mile. Roads from 260 is very rough!

A short hike from the parking lot and you are in a little patch of paradise. If you just enjoy natural running water, this is a great place to sit and relax in the stream. If you like jumping from cliffs, there are various rocks of different heights to jump from. The road to get here is no easy path and is extremely bumpy so you have to go very slow. Do not bring your sedan on this road or you will destroy your car's shocks. But if you have a large car, the experience of driving there, hiking to the water and jumping off the cliffs into that crystal clear water is absolutely amazing.

A bit of a drive down a long dirt road, and a very small hike, worth every bit of effort. It's a small slice of paradise. The water was beautiful, and the sound and smell all aid in the feeling of serenity.
