The fact that there are two negative reviews here had me erupting in fits of laughter. I happened to grow up near this fire station and I once cracked open the back of my foot right above my heel while barefoot. I walked over to the fire station with a wounded foot. The firefighters took a look at it and determined that I should not wear a band-aid, and should keep it clean and put some Neosporin on it and let it breath. Eventually my mom came home and wanted me to go to the doctors and get stitches and a tetanus shot. Who in their right mind wants stitches and a shot? I ended up getting the stitches and shot but would have preferred the firefighters’ recommendations. My mom noticed how clean the wound was when she looked at it. Oh and I had to wear a band aid, it really sucked. If the firefighters had told me to get stitches and a shot, and wear a band-aid, I would have given them one star.

Went to there supposed mustache charity event and a bunch of immature fire kids were running the event, their girlfriends were judging the event and giving awards to their boys. All wins went to FVFD, wow! I’m glad I didn’t donate any money to an arrogant department of a bunch of spoiled kids, good luck with that group protecting the city.
my children burnt to a crisp, at least i have food now
TOTAL COMMUNITY ANNOYANCE. Siren's here blare 24/7. Another FALSE ALARM. For example an hour later I watch them pull into the supermarket like nothing happened... What was all the hysteria over in the 1st place??
Used to do an open house every year. Certain they still do open up the station for the neighborhood every so often.
