Frank Fat's is hands down, the best Chinese restaurant in Sacramento. Beautiful interior and mouthwatering food, there's a reason why Frank Fat's received the prestigious James Beard award. Everything was delicious, but be sure to try their honey walnut shrimp! The restaurant is family owned and operated.

Great service and great food portions. The taste of the food is really awesome and the service of the crew here is really great. The smell of the place will get you hungry since you can always smell great food being cooked here. I love the ambience and I really recommend them!

Very disappointed with my experience here. I heard so many great things about Frank Fats being an institution but was let down on every aspect. Placing a takeout order was incredibly difficult as the phone line was constantly busy and there was no alternative on their website. The dine downtown special took 1.5 hours after getting through on the phone. The food was terrible quality at a lower bar than Panda Express. It is not upscale (besides the price) and taste like any other americanized Chinese takeout restaurants. Perhaps the atmosphere and service of dining inside would make up for the food quality but I would not recommend the food to anyone.

I visit this outstanding place once a month because I love the special atmosphere that is unique to this restaurant. The staff is extraordianrillyremarkably helpful and experienced. The service is deeply rapid. Also, the food they cook is first-rate. I frequent many times and I was always happy. The rate is modest. I recommend this place to to all.
