Called to ask for help with finding the correct state form and the representative woman simply hanged I the middle of request stating she couldn't help. Should have at least directed to the right department or been polite.

What a total waste of time. We can't reach them ( Ex Employer) by phone, they won't answer. We sent letters ( to Ex Employer), no response. Just tell people upfront, We're an ineffective Government agency, so really don't expect much. Why does this Agency even exist??

Probably one of the most corrupt departments in state government. You can bet most of them have pockets full of capitalism money. If your a employee good luck on getting help.

I filed a claim within the last 3 years concerning a former employer who did not pay me all of my earned wages. Cherie Teresa Mallonee was assigned to my case and was very difficult to work with from the very beginning. Not only was she incompetent and slow, but she had the nerve to question why I was filing a claim for unpaid wages since I was no longer with the company. I had emails from this employer stating that they would be sure to pay me on specific dates but it never happened. Eventually, I was paid after going back & forth with this imbecile, Cherie Mallonee, for nearly a year. She even lied about how much I would get paid at one point. She acted as if my claim was affecting her life in some way. Instead of questioning why this employer didn't own up to their duty and just pay me what I was due, she took it upon herself to tell me that I had to sign an agreement. She was in such a big hurry to get my case over with so she could go to her son's military graduation, she demanded that I send the paperwork back by a certain date. I put her in her place and told her that it would take at least 4-5 days for me to receive the paperwork and that she would get it back whenever it reached her. Just beware of this nutcase, Cherie Mallonee, if you make a claim with the Labor Dept.
